The Wedding Experience
Congrats, you have found your perfect match and are about to start this crazy thing called wedding planning! We also joke that there is one more perfect fit you need to find, and that is your WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER. Truth be told, we won’t be the best photographer for every single couple. Generally speaking, if someone claims to be “the best”, buyer beware! However, we do believe there can be perfect matches with clients and photographers, and we if you’re reading all of this, there is a good chance that we could be YOURS!
What We Do Differently
Getting to Know You
Everything starts with actually having a relationship with you. By the time your wedding day arrives, all the awkwardness is gone. You’ll have two of your newest friends there to serve you on your special day, already knowing what’s important to you and how to capture those irreplaceable memories for generations to come!
Husband-and-Wife Team
One of the most unique experiences is getting to serve you and your mate as a couple. The entire journey feels like a double date instead of a stuffy vendor-client vibe. Enjoy having a bonded pair to serve both of you all along the way and avoid the unknowns of a random, less experienced second shooter at your wedding.
Our Specific Posing Method
We’re not professional models and we don’t expect you to be either! You’ll feel confident in front of the camera thanks to our exclusive blended approach to shooting that mixes magazine-quality natural poses with candid moments that simply feel like you. Plenty of direction will be given where needed, and to top it off, we’ll constantly keep on eye on the details to make sure you won’t have a hair out of place!
Focusing on Your Love Story
During our time together, we’ll ask you about your love story: how you met, what you’re dreaming of together, what’s important to you and why. Laughter, smiles, and tears of joy will all be had! With this approach, your genuine personalities and special connection will shine through in the photographs, prints, and albums!
Limiting Number of Weddings
Each year, we accept a limited number of weddings. Sure, we could take on twice as many bookings, but ultimately we believe life should be more about quality than quantity! This gives us more time to focus on our marriage, our family, and our relationship with you!

The Wedding Process
STEP ONE
INQUIRY
You’re in love with the timeless style you’ve seen, you like what you’re seeing about who we are, and you want to find out if we’re available for your date. Fill out the form on our contact page and we’ll be in touch as soon as possible, typically within 24-48 hours.
STEP TWO
LET’S TALK
After your inquiry, we’ll setup a time to talk. We can meet on a zoom call or in person. These consultations last anywhere from 15 minutes up to an hour. It’s best to have your fiance and any other decision makers around at this point. We’ll have lots of questions to start getting to know your love story, what you value, and find out if we are a perfect fit.
STEP THREE
SAVE THE DATE
Once we’ve built your custom package, we’ll send over everything you need to make it official. You’ll receive a digital contract along with an online invoice. Signing the contract and paying the non-refundable retainer secures us for your wedding date, and now the real fun begins!
At this point, we’ll start planning your engagement session and we’re happy to be a sounding board for you when you’re planning and considering other vendors.
STEP FOUR
ENGAGEMENT SESSION
It’s time to have fun and get comfortable in front of the camera with your fiance! Whether you want to schedule this session right away or wait until closer to your wedding day, engagement sessions give you beautiful photographs for save the dates, invitations, and for decorating your wedding and your home with. We’d also tell you that these sessions are one of the most important pieces of the puzzle for how you’ll feel on your wedding day. Engagement sessions are a lot of fun, a great way for us to get to know you, and for you to see how it feels working with us without the stress of a wedding day timeline.
STEP FIVE
PLANNING for the BEST PHOTOGRAPHS
Weddings without any plans are stressful for everyone involved and leave couples with regrets of what could’ve been. We’ll send questionnaires and sample wedding timelines to get the planning conversation started. Then, a month or two before your wedding, we’ll get together and start finalizing planning details with you.
Let’s grab a coffee, a beer, a glass of wine, or some ice cream and talk through everything. We’ll listen for and consider everything that’s important for you. From that, we’ll either build a custom timeline for you or work with your planner to make sure everything is accounted for. We’ll even find places in your timeline for you to take a breather and relax to reduce stress and soak in the beauty of your special day.
STEP SIX
THE WEDDING DAY
Are you ready to say “I Do” and celebrate? We’re ready to celebrate with you!! We’ll show up as friends, not as stuffy stand-off-ish camera nerds. Usually we’ve spent months getting to know each other and plan for this one day.
Our goal is to create elegant, timeless photographs that capture the most beautiful and irreplaceable moments of your day. Get ready to smile, laugh, and make incredible memories surrounded by those who love you the most.
STEP SEVEN
RELIVE YOUR BIG DAY
About eight weeks after your wedding day, all of your images will have been edited, organized, and ready for delivery. You’ll receive an email with access to all of your digital images that you can share with friends and family.
STEP EIGHT
YOUR FIRST FAMILY HEIRLOOM
We’ll create an initial design, get your feedback, and craft your first family heirlooms with museum quality albums and prints!
